Back Massage

Swedish Massage

Reduce your Stress, Increase Blood Circulation

Swedish Massage Therapy is the most well-known and widely practiced type of therapeutic massage-and for good reason. This type of massage focuses on muscle relaxation, targeting superficial muscles (rather than the connective tissues targeted in deep-tissue massage) and increases blood circulation.

Massage Therapy

Deep Tissue Massage

Ease Chronic Muscle Pain and Muscle Tension

Deep Tissue massage therapy involves applying slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissues surrounding muscles). It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

CBD Infused Massage

CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is ideal for massage therapy because of its natural and anti-inflammatory effects, which help calm sore muscles and joints.  When CBD oil is applied on the skin, it locates our natural endocannabinoid molecules, then binds with them and activates receptors in the endocannabinoid system to help simulate the effects of pain relief and relaxation, ultimately calming the nervous system. CBD oil can be added on to any massage for $10.

Private or semi-private yoga classes

I have been practicing yoga for thirty years. I have three yoga teacher certifications. Yoga helps to stretch and strengthen muscles, ligaments and tendons, preventing injuries as well as reducing pain from existing injuries. Yoga helps improve range of motion and flexibility which leads to better performance in activities. When combined with massage therapy, yoga can provide an even more effective way to improve health and well-being.

I graduated from the Touch Therapy Institute in 2002. I have continued my education including classes at the Massage Therapy Institute in Davis and Advanced Myofascial Techniques through Advanced Trainings. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher. I  have completed three yoga teacher trainings and have been a yoga practitioner since 1995. I have a MA in Gerontology (the study of aging) from San Francisco State University. I incorporate my experience, education and intuition into each session providing a tailored session per individual needs.
